If anyone is really hard up to coach in college,Chowan College is looking for a Head Cross Country Coach.It pays around $28,000.00 which includes a free dorm room for the first six months.This postion also has additional duties such as cutting the grass on the athletic fields and setting up for basketball games.
FYI: The top girl's xc runner at Chowan posted a season best of over 29:00 FOR A 5k in 2005. And she was by far the best girl on the team. You read that correctly, 5k, not 8k. You are better off taking over a middle school squad.

I think it would be a challange......it woukld really show if you could coach.

$28,000 isn't bad for coaching just women's CC. But the HR website doesn't list it being open. Check your info. This position was advertised months ago.
