I have a pair of Streak XC's but I'm not sure it they would be durable enough to run a marathon. Should I pick up a pair of the Kantana Racer II. By the way I'm 6'1" 130 and a forefoot striker.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend streaking whenever you can.
Look into a pair of Nike marathoners. The streak XC is only supposed to be good for 10 miles or so.
Keep in mind that Katana has very little cushioning. 26.2 miles of pavement in a pair of those is an awful lot of abuse for your feet and lower legs, even with your build. I'd second the recommendation on the Marathoner.
the streak xc are more natural feeling but go with what works well for you. i do all of my training in the streak xc without a problem but some people might call me an idiot. go with what works for you individually, not what works well for the masses.
If you like your Streaks then go with them. I ran a marathon in Mayflys and they were the kindest shoe I ever ran in. I've only done 10Ks in Streaks but find them similar. I'm sure Marathoners are the way to go for some people, but I find them stiff.
I have a ton of miles on my streak XC, ran two marathons, wear them on well-groomed trails, love them. Haven't worn any other recent models.
