no short shorts unfortunatley.
I have the grey ones. They are on the longer end of running shorts. The liner in them is horrid, like a pair of spandex biking shorts. Spend your money on something else, other nike running shorts are much better.
really.. no positive reviews on them? if not - alright - ill save some money at least
It says 9 inches on the site
agreed...the liner is absolutely HORRIBLE. the shell fabric is great, breathable and fast drying but....
i got fooled and bought the oregon colors online, didnt know the liner what the liner was like.
Dude, I'm gonna start wrapping ice cream cones in green plastic and selling it as Pre colors. Has any not cashed in on this yet? Maybe Diane Sawyer will grow a mustache and interview, gasping for breath with arms flailing around, as a post-race Pre?
Prefontaine died 31 years ago. What is this fixation with the guy?
i was considering buying them when they went on sale so i could freeball to school, but freeballing is supposed to be comfortable.
Hey, I have an idea, pass it along to all the people who can't seem to get over their jealousy that Pre was a great runner who lives on in well deserved legend:
Train hard and get good enough to displace him, then they can name shoes after you and sell videos and everything.
Face it, he was a great runner in an era of great runners- larger than life as Ian Stewart said.
The thing is, he could be an inspiration to any runners that hard training will pay off.
There are others and I would love to see the shoe companies make roll models out of the group we have running NOW.
This group of young men and women are great. Both Halls, Dobson, Goucher, Ritz, Kastor, McGregor, Fleshman, etc are the kind of roll models we need for the overweight, unhealthy teenagers in the country.
Along with them, there is nothing wrong with having a legond to lead the way.
Get over it, kid, accept it as a way to promote the sport you (hopefully) love and it can open opportunities for you.
Ritz and Webb should be worried, Uncle Phil is plotting some terriible "accident" for them to help shore up sales for the next 30 years.
I got the green ones, and yea they are really long, really not made to be run in. I rathaer they just make a pair of regular green short running shorts.
It's funny that Pre, and adidias man, is being exploited by Nike today for his short stint with Nike.
anyone else think nike is kind of pathetic? the are abusing pre's likeness to hock crappy t-shirts.
they still use kennedy's name for their spikes and he's been with puma for a while now...
Okay
Who cares what name Nike puts on their shoes/shorts/anything that they sell. Find the shorts and shirts and shoes that you like to run in and run in them. If they're from adidas or nike or even some generic brand doesn't matter as long as you like them. Running isn't about being fashionable and wearing a certain runner's clothing. It's about putting one foot in front of the other faster than anyone else out there.
Wear for comfort, not style or anything of that sort because if you're worried about how you look, you're not worried about all of the other people that will beat you.
done deal, no shorts!
The guy died DRUNK DRIVING!?
That is not a fact. And even if it were true it doesn't take away from his athletic ability.
ummmm... I believe it's pretty well established that that is the truth...
