Race Is Irrelevant if the Jurors are all fair and unbiased, And If a Juror is proven to be Unfair and Biased they will be dismissed from the case. A Juror is Like a Judge or Referee, Example if Ohio State is Playing Michigan in a Football Game, The Referee is supposed to be fair and Impartial, if he is a huge fan of one of the schools, Or if he is betting Money on the Outcome of the Game he will not be allowed to referee that game.

Why would them being educators disqualify them from being on the jury?

The juror who said he couldn’t put a brother in jail didn’t want to be on the jury and that was his way out. That was pretty obvious.

No, not really. He's a teenager, he has family support. Time fades everything even on the internet. He can, and should, lead a normal life after his prison term.

There is no such thing as 'racially fair and unbiased' across the population as a whole. Maybe outliers that aren't biased but in general it has been proven with other decisions like interviews for jobs etc, that subconcious racial bias favours those that are of the same race.

Funny how people are overly concerned with the murderer (which was a totally senseless, lack of emotional control and uncalled for attack) getting a "fair trial." So what, they want him off the hook or else theyll scream racism? Seems like it. If roles were reversed, this would be getting excessive mainstream attention as in top coverage nationally and daily throughout the trial and no one dare quip about a "fair trial" unless they'd want their head torn off.

For kids like Karmello, there's no remedy. He can say he wants to change and integrate, contribute to society but it means nothing. Sure, it's not really his fault he was very likely born without choice into a grim chaotic family situation that programmed his mind, but he has to bear the responsibility for his actions.
