They run commercials here roughly every other commercial throughout the day. Basically they claim that they recycle most of their water, thus using less water than the farm that they're building on and the returning millions of dollars to the community and actually adding energy to the grid. Somebody's fibbing I'm not sure who.

Some of it goes back into the ground as polluted, undrinkable water. The rest of it evaporates and eventually falls as rain several hundreds of miles away, probably in the ocean.

NPUs and TPUs in Data Centers are power hogs that's for certain. NPUs, VPUs, LPUs is cutting power down to 10% and move AI to edge devices (iPhone, Mac, etc) today. Waferscale will lower power in Data Centers to 15%. in few years. Optical Computers promise to drop power to 1/10,000 to 1,000,000 in 5 years. So I think this power sucking binge is a temporary menace.
No worries mate. Toyota and Honda spent $Billions filing 100,000 patents on Electrolysis, Hydrogen, Turbine, Jet, Ram Jet etc in 200 countries 100s of tribal authorities locking down the technology. Then the Japanese Government released the patents royalty free to the world for anyone to use. US companies are free to adopt water powered electric grids, water powered cars, etc.

It's like today we have no horses in the streets when back in the day no one thought that would ever be possible and come true. There is a need to be concerned. We will still need oil for plastics, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, etc. We will still need electricity for many decades to come.
