Italy wins because of a flop by one of its players. The resulting penalty kick is simply a gift. It was nothing new - same old BS strategy that you see in any Cup game. Has FIFA considered (I'm sure there has been much debate on this topic) of replacing PKs with cards? It just seems so much more equitable. For instance, during today's game, the Australian defender, at worst, could've been thrown out of the game. While not deserved, this type of punishment fits the crime much more so that handing a team a goal. I say "hand" because PKs are such high percentage shots.
