I want to be an infantry officer, but I can’t with my chronic plantar fasciitis. I had it since 2020 after trying to get into running when I had a sedentary background, and it never healed since. I have been through so many doctors and physical therapists, and no one helps. I tried steroid shots, calf raises, calf stretches, resting, icing, using toes to pick up marbles, night splints, and scraping the plantar fascia. Nothing works. I wish I was more careful when I first started to run because plantar fasciitis is so hard to treat, but it’s too late now. What do I do?
