Interesting humanoid... Seems to be all neck with no head or is that all head with no neck?
What are the odds it was doping?

Last year, the fastest robot ran 2:40. This year 0:50. An improvement that big seems suspicious.
The robot fell and was helped to its feet. DQ.
This is nothing. My car can easily break 13 in the half marathon.

Zero. It’s just crushing the double thresholds, bro.
2:23/km pace (or faster because of the fall). Very few humans could outrun it for 1km. You can count the humans who could outrun it for 2km on one hand. No human could outrun it for > than 2km.
Be scared or train harder.
Ok.
We are close to having robots acting as perfect pacemakers for the whole race.
Go grandson, go!
What age group would these robots be competing in? Aren’t they too young to run these races officially? As a Neo-Luddite I’m convinced that these machines will further the rapid decline in human civilization.
There was a remote control humanoid robot in the race who went faster 48min19. That’s 2:17/km pace. I could probably name all the guys who can run that (from memory). Only one human has kept that pace for 1500m. No humans can do this currently.
I wonder if they will move the challenge to a full marathon next year. The robots are going fast enough. The challenge now is to give them more battery autonomy (at a fast pace) and work on more efficient motor cooling techniques.
What's striking to me is their running form. They are roughly human-shaped and run with similar mechanics, but there is absolutely no bounce--the center of gravity doesn't move up and down at all.

That's because it's running at a cadence of like 300 steps per minute
It didn't event raise its arms in victory. The arrogance

This. "Machine beats humans at physical endeavor" might have been a big headline in 1870. Today it's pretty much the expected outcome. The world is full of all kinds of machines that can cover 13.1 miles faster than I can on foot.

3 in 1 oil is a helluva drug.
The thing will also lie about its age. Be careful.

...or stop it's watch when crossing the finish line...
They should call him Robert Cherui-bot.
