lol, some really solid information being provided in this thread.
Lexi Young and Colin Sahlman, who could have run much faster, were both in the mid-8:30s at Arcadia and Aaron ran 8:02 which converts to sub-8:40. Leo ran 3:41 and ran stride for stride with Lexi during XC their Junior year, but became sick the next track season. And, oh by the way, one of the GOAT 5/10 runners was a few years anhead and didn’t run with those guys.
Niwot has a great team, but they’re not nearly as good as NB was and there will never be a team that approaches the level of NP.

So really, NP’s greatness was really the Youngs and Sahlmans. They had some other really good runners, but not on their level.
MileSplits official Boys - JV formatted results for the 2016 Crescenta Valley Mid-Week Invitational, hosted by Crescenta Valley (SS) in La Crescenta CA.
Crater, Niwot and Herriman are all more impressive to me because they did it for a longer period of time with less dependency on sets of brothers.
NP was still impressive if for no other reason to have 2 sets of bothers that good. The top 5 times were those 2 families. After them, it looks a lot more ordinary.
