No Kennedy. Gout pulled away the last 50m. Amazing time.

Aiden Murphy sub 20 in second
wow these championships have had it all!
Amazing! That breaks Erriyon Knighton's World U20 record of 19.69.
Conditions a bit cool for sprinting. Certainly not perfect.
+1.7 in the straight, not sure about tailwind on the bend but some big PBs there.

The Australian national record before today was 20.02. Now the top two are 19.67 and 19.88!
Kennedy was disqualified in the heats
Would like to see him become more 200/400 than 100/200,
But.....he is going to be changing physically soon, am curious how that growth is going to effect him,

Nice to see that mark erased.
I know it has a different meaning in Australia, but I had to chuckle at the giant "Chemist Warehouse" banner across the 200 turn fence!

No not correct. He was a scratching, he even said after the 100 win he wasn’t running the 200.

Put Kennedy’s start with Gout’s finish and you would have a superstralian.
The kid has that same..........decellerate who me?.....like Bolt, MJ and Tommie Smith had, while everyone else is decellerating there they are barely slowly decellerating, tiny decell phase,
I am curous what his 400m would look like right now.
