Legit time. Per Flotrack it's the 5th fastest time in all divisions.
For the elephant in the room, I don't think Clevenger could get close to this one. Hagan is an ethical D1 transfer
Clevenger doesn’t have the foot speed to run sub 3:40, not even BPC is gonna help him with that there’s a reason he did not race the mile at indoor nattys
D1 DROPOUT. This is awesome so good for the sport. But from a d1 runners perspective it’s kinda a shame he had to drop out of Georgetown. D3 must not be happy with him and Clevenger (even though I know Hagan is clean still must be annoying)

I think there’s a difference between losing to someone legitimately better than you and losing to someone on EPO…

He ran 3:59.41 basically solo (2 people ran 3:53 but were a lot ahead of him the whole way – 59.4 vs 60.7 at 400, 1:58.2 vs 2:00.8 at 800, etc). The immediate 1500 conversion is 3:41.6. With legitimate drafting I think he runs <3:40.
I know a couple people who just didn't like the D1 atmosphere.
They liked D3 better. Personal choice and I've known of athletes who got academic aid that basically amounted to a full ride.
Geneseo is a legit college.
Legit in what way? Like Rowan, Geneseo is basically a community college for locals.
But your first point is correct — D1 ain’t for everyone. The patron saint of D3, Andrew Rock, grew up in a town of like 500 people in rural Wisconsin. Lax was a much better fit for him than Madison.
Yeah, and unlike Seth, he's not a lying, cheating scumbag.
or maybe he is fighting fire with fire
Yeah, alright, wake me up when multiple members of Geneseo's team go on record about it, when a video of his email showing EPO receipts surfaces, when he hires the most incompetent lasagna eating lawyer this side of Naples to poorly defend him, and when his Mom crashes out in the IG comments of a students newspaper.
To reach the same levels of embarrassment and patheticness as Seth, Ryan would have to livestream himself injecting EPO while robbing a 7-11 or assaulting an old woman or something.
D1 dropout is some aggressive wording. Kids hit 17/18 and have to make their first "real" decision at 17/18 about what direction they want their education and life to go in. Trying out a big D1 school and leaving for a smaller experience in your home state doesn't make a person a dropout anymore than the hundreds of athletes who are jumping in and out of the transfer portal each year. Why would the NCAA have an issue with a kid who spent freshman year elsewhere, took a try to find the right fit and then has spent the rest of his time gradually progressing at a DIII school?
