After a recent break from from outdoor track (5 days), i began to run again. However i was very confused about my fitness. It seemed i was faster now after taking 5 days off than i was at my peak race (championships). It seemed on my run today that everything was more efficent and i was runing a lot faster. I also noticed that my pulse was considerably lower. When i woke up of course, I took it as 43. During the season it was at 50. Is it possible that i am faster now? Is it possible that it is good to take days off?
