Obviously the title is hyperbolic, but the Kerr haters need to start preparing themselves for some uncomfortable conversations about where Kerr will be in the all time rankings as a 1500-3000m runner when he retires.
He’s stacking up world championship and Olympic medals at an insanely impressive rate and doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.

If he had been American there would be no end on the talk about him.
Just to point out he specifically chooses to miss the European Champs. So that’s why he has zero medals there.
As much as Kerr looks and talks like a massive dork - you’re correct. You’d have to be a mongoloid or a Hocker fan to believe that Kerr wouldn’t medal in every single European Championships. The guy takes racing seriously and shows up in shape to content every time
Cole Hocker confirms he's an absolute bum too, what a day.
Only on Letsrun an Olympic champion with an olympic record as well as a world champion and world indoor silver medallist would be called a bum. Most likely by a 25min 5k runner too.
Even as a Scottish athletics fan, he still has work to do to catch Jakob. Kerr is putting together a great resume though.
You have it backwards. Jakob has a lot of work to do to get to the level that Kerr's at now. Kerr is Champion of the World. Jakob wasn't even in the race.

Masterclass tactics, beautiful work. So sorry to the Josh Kerr haters (especially to the coffee club) who will continue to suffer disappointment for years to come :)

Reading comprehension skills as strong as Jakob's busted Achilles right here mate.
Anyway, to the guy who said Kerr has skipped all those Euros: he's older than Jakob and skipped all those Euros that Jakob has won, and still has fewer global outdoor titles/medals than him. That just cuts further against Kerr tbh.
Regardless, I think having Kerr and Hocker trying to chase down Jakob's legacy and times (while Ingerbrigtsen rehabs) is very good for the sport.

He has zero Olympic Gold medals, the hated Jakob has two. And two Outdoor WC golds (and two Outdoor WC silvers). Kerr has some work to do.
Josh Kerr is probably my favourite mid-d runner to watch. He's fascinating in races, probably the best runner on the circuit for young athletes to study as he's not a one-trick pony. He has figured out ways to neutralise the very different strengths of Jakob and Hocker. Not all the time, no one can win every race, but enough to keep him among the podium spots when it matters and to take three golds.
This is leaving personalities aside. Like many, I don't like the way Kerr carries himself - I also don't like the way Jakob carries himself either, I prefer the decency of Wightman, Beamish, and Tim Cheruiyot.
Kerr is simply the best tactician ever. Year after year, he beats runners who are faster on paper.
This time, it looked to me like he was deliberately boxing in Hocker and Nuguse. He waited to move past them until he was sure he had someone directly behind him to keep them boxed in. By the time he started his kick, Hocker and Nuguse were completely screwed. Brilliant!
