The judgement was excellent. Like an indoor 400 you have to determine if it is "worth it" to fight for the lead in that first 200, or back off smartly and ease by when you choose—Lutkenhaus looked calm throughout and moved up smartly. Great head on his shoulders
Lutkenhaus: Is "Poisoned" by his own 1:44.29. He arrives at the final with "Neural-Flat" legs. Attaoui: Is "Vibrantly Fresh" after a "Monastic" calibration. The Verdict: Lutkenhaus won the "Neural Shock" battle today, but he has "given the rope" to Attaoui for tomorrow.
I don't think anyone is considering making this a 1:42 race. Will more likely be a 1:43.5 race that comes down to final lap positioning.
I'm still thinking of Crestan as a very light favorite, with Cooper medaling somewhere. Attaoui could be in trouble if he runs this as a kicker's race and runs extra meters going wide. Should be entertaining any which way.

Respect to Clay and Bloudek but its the four 1:42 guys for three medal spots. I think Cooper and Crestan will go 1-2 in some order, Attaoui will kick up for third, and Bol will miss out and maybe even get sniped by Clay for 4th after running hard the first 600m.

Better bring in that 21.8 last 200m
Your hatred and jealousy of Lutkenhaus shines through in all your posts, no matter the name you use(or which thread it is). It’s all a learning experience for the (very) young Texan, and no matter what happens indoors, by the end of Summer Attaoui will be speaking with his coach about moving up to the 1500m. Lutkenhaus will dominate him outdoors. Mark it.
Cooper just nonchalantly dropped the #2 performer all-time at the WCI and #3 all-time World Indoor Championship time in history behind Kipketer's (DEN), 1:42.67 from '97 and 1:43.96 in his heat that same championship. He is now ahead of Borzakovsky (RUS) and Hoey (USA), both World Champions.

Attaoui was all out and finished behind Cooper coasting.

What is up with you weirdos arguing about your favorite runners like you’re in 3rd grade saying “my dad would beat up your dad”?
I want to see Lutkenhaus succeed and do well as much as the next guy, but Attaoui and the rest are all just normal guys trying to do their best as well.
It just comes off as pathetic, and even though I’m sure these pros appreciate people who show genuine support, they probably wouldn’t like people to pray for the demise of others for their benefit.

You’re just angry you’ve been called out on your jealousy of a kid 🤡. Hopefully Coop recovers well and again beats the savage Attaoui and the rest in the final and crushes their hopes and dreams for all time.
If he doesn’t, at least he’s shown he’s improving so far. 😎
