With all that is said and complained about regarding international "older" athletes coming into the NCAA (this is true and an issue). We need to give respect to the young Americans in 3k this weekend. These guys raced to a standard that stands to the world and we should be proud of them. American running is bright and it needs to be celebrated

There was more egregious contact in the DII Nattys meet compared to Habtom and no one somehow got dqd. It turned into a wwe match for some of the races
I remember noble winning the mile and getting DQd how many times in d2 has there been a DQ in a distance event it’s gotta be the highest rate of all divisions lol

No way. It was a good DQ. He got passed and pulled one runner back and then used the other arm to hold the other back. Easy DQ decision.
Samuel actually won the race though. Anything after that was mostly politics.
I’m a conservative American who voted for Trump and even I think this is bonkers that this has three times the amount of thumbs down as thumbs up. That DQ was ridiculous…shouldn’t have been a disqualification for that type of contact.
