Interesting match up of flight or flight and they are in the same weight class.
I'd say the marathon dude takes him. Liddell is explosive and has too much fast twitch muscles to be able to finish a marathon in a respectable time. Great athlete but the marathon wouldn't be his thing.
Liddell would sprawl. Sprawl. Then land a good kick and right cross and knock that dude out. Then Liddell would be able to walk the marathon and not have to worry about a race.

Of the 170lbs fighters in the UFC, Luke Cummo and Nick Diaz could have been good runners.
Luke has heart and great cardio. Diaz is a great athlete and if he lost a few pounds and did running specific workouts, I have no doubt he'd be a pretty good runner.
Nick Diaz put in a credible performance in what is considered to be the world’s toughest half Ironman triathlon. He was 41st overall and 6th in his age division.
Nathan Diaz also competed but it looked like he ran out of gas out on the run portion. These guys must do a ton of cardio to be able to complete this event.
They both swam 1.2 miles then biked 56 miles over a very hilly course before running 13.1 miles on extremely hilly trails.

His cardio is amazing. He isn't afraid to mix it up with other endurance athletes. If you saw him at a race, you would think he looks like any other guy. But if he wanted to, he could kick your ass in seconds.
