I remember Miles Brown clearly - he was the guy Hobbs Kessler went up against his senior year at his state meet, first failing to run him down in the 4x800, and then coming back to run him down in the 800.
He's had a rough few years with injury, so i'm happy to see him finally succeed.
I was there at the finish line. Everybody was shocked, especially his teammates and coaches. Nobody expected that time from him. It was the loudest reaction of the 3-day meet.

Big ten 800 was 30 minutes before and I would imagine that all the other guys (Erickson, Clay, Schultz, Roban etc.) were cooked from it. They all go demolished.
