Just learned that while grad students can enter the portal at any time, the next window for undergrads isnt until after NCAA Outdoors. What programs have scholarship money that late; or do you think schools will hold to see who they can get? What would upu do of you were a college coach?
I would hope that college coaches aren’t building teams with transfers.
The schools that have their own scholarship woes undergrads enter the portal will have their money available.
first, choose your school wisely. transferring is no guarantee.
second, if you are really fast, the good schools will find a way.
third, be a coach at a good school.

One basketball coach at a major university said that he no longer recruits high schoolers. He just goes with the transfer portal.
God forbid athletes being put in a situation where it’s possibly better for them to remain at the school they chose, and not transfer every year. And for coaches to actually recruit athletes and have to develop them to be good
