No idea what this means as far as race fitness. But if you want another data point that has since been deleted, he ran 18 at slightly higher elevation at 5:36 pace avgHR of 138.
Related to this, I always wonder why some pros dabble with Strava but obviously don't want to post everything. If it were me, and I knew people were very interested in my workouts, I'd either post everything or nothing. To each their own, no big deal. But just seems odd to go half way.

I do the same thing. I post some workouts but not all. I want my rivals to know I'm fit but not exactly how fit. Keep them aware but also in the dark.

If you really want to mess with them hire Strava mules.
If you really want to mess with them hire Strava mules.
(unfortunately that's a real thing)
Except fisher is so fit he'd need a prime East African to...or a moderately fit human on a bike, but that would run into cadence issues
Hiring a Strava mule is crazy. I don't get why people would do that. They'd just be making themselves look bad if they can't back up their posted workouts in a race. I want my rivals to underestimate me.
Grant and his coach Mike Scannell have a plan for L.A. 2028, and it's not the 5000 or 10,000.
You heard it here first.
In an interview Grant already hinted it would be special to race the Olympic marathon on American soil. I think he just wants to get the transition right before he makes a bunch of claims about racing the trials only to underachieve at the marathon distance before the trials. He would look like he has underestimated the marathon if he were to talk a big game only to not be good at it. The workout tells us that he could as of right now easily run under 2:10 so long as he wouldn’t blow up around mile 22, which is always a big if for rookies. Obviously if he adjusts well enough then he is an eventual threat at sub 2:04 because a 26:32 guy has ridiculous upside.
Klecker is so overrated. There are a lot of American men who are faster than him and can perform on race days. My guess is Klecker won't even be top 10 at the LA trials.
