Should have had the title just stating Jakob is back to running and left the boost treadmill part off for better click bait. Then break the news in the thread that it’s at 70% body weight

maybe op is a boost rep, it's obvious the post is #sponsored

Nah, just popped up in my insta feed and had copied it to put in a Jakob thread and then I saw this one. Just trying to feed the Jakob fire
Here's an idea - how about going for a walk on the beach without shoes and slowly beginning to re-strengthen your lower leg muscles, ligaments and tendons naturally instead of RUNNING ON A TREADMILL IN 40mm STACK, SUPER SOFT RACING SHOES.
This is one of the highest performing race cars (metaphorically speaking) we've ever seen in middle distance running and crew looking after it are taking it to Jiffy Lube and Pep Boys for it's maintenance. F-ing unbelievable.
Didn’t take long for all those intimately familiar with Jakobs rehab plan and network of therapists to chime in. 🙄
Yeah because it's gone really well for him over the last 12 months hasn't it. Clearly a crack team at play - or how about this one, Jakob doesn't listen to anyone and is only surrounded by yes men that when he says "I want to do an instagram post of me running already to show it's really not a big deal" (when everyone knows it is), simply nod their heads and say "Ja Jakob, god idé"
how about we express it in terms of peak forces compared to what he would endure running at 50s 400m pace, or out of a start, or throwing a surge for positioning?
Peak forces here at 7 min miles at 70% bodyweight are way less. But it's still way more force than gentle swimming, cycling, or walking

His philosophical differences with Hocker are so stark.
Hocker: does nearly everything but race pace in clunkers (Structures)
Jakob: Does nearly everything in supershoes it seems
Hocker: Biking/X-training a core part of training
Jakob: Running only when healthy
And then there’s the Ben Thomas stuff we hear about like lots of mixed workouts (hills, threshold combined), pace change emphasis, long runs vs more regimented double T and VO2/specific work and less of a traditional long run. Just interesting to see such a difference in the two best 1500-5000 runners in the world

Sounds like you're jealous of his social media success Salvitore?
Anyways, I doubt it's the shoes. He already said it but he had surgery to remove leftover scar tissue from the previous overuse injury on it. He should be good to go with a gradual buildup, and I find it hilarious that this guy thinks Jakob doesn't do any foot strengthening exercises and actually Jakob is just a giant p*ssy who can only use supershoes actually!
