I am trying to locate the information but have had no luck on the maximum number of coaches that are allowed on staff at one time (including paid staff and volunteers). I want to look into volunteering at a couple schools but I keep hearing that there are maximum numbers for hands on coaching. For some reason, I think it is 10 total for separate m/w programs, but is it the same for combined programs? Any help would be great!
With all due respect, if they are telling you this, it probably means they do not want or need your help...
Plus, it won't do any good to come back with some stat about how he REALLY IS allowed to have you on staff.

NCAA rules are as follows:
SIX paid coaches (which includes GAs if athletic department money is used)
OR
THREE per gender
along with
SIX volunteers/THREE per gender
