the outside, it looks like she may have had a short Brooks deal that isn’t being renewed. No logos in recent posts, intentionally blank kit, and no shoe brand listed in her bio anymore.
Obviously no official announcement, but athletes usually don’t go fully logo-free unless they’re between contracts or negotiating something new. But she obviously didn’t like Brooks to be wearing Nike by choice now

Brooks athletes are the worst for advertising their brand. Not sure why they let this happen. We once had a high profile female Brooks athlete out to speak at our store and she wasn’t wearing one piece of Brooks apparel or shoes.
Brooks NIL athletes are never seen in Brooks products other than the stuff that Brooks puts out.

So how does this affect you?

She the US 10000m Champion. She should be happy people are paying attention.

Also Chari Hawkins who has made some very good videos is always wearing Nike but is supposedly a Brooks athlete.

Nike is so L.A. now with $BILLION invested in Hollywood in recent years.

Brooks doesn't make the USA team kit (which Chari is flaunting in like half her posts) or some of the specialty shoes (jumps, throws) that multis use.

But Chari doesn’t have to wear that kit any longer. I wouldn’t be surprised if that isn’t why Emily was dropped by Brooks.

Her hubby still works at Nike, why not support his company? Beyond that I doubt there’s much to it.

She’s still an accomplished athlete but isn’t getting any younger.

My wife is an accountant for Victoria Secret but it doesn’t mean I need to wear the product.

That product is often best when taken off anyway.

Well, in San Antonio, where the 430miler coaches his D2 school, Victoria is a Secret because them big 'ol women need bloomers instead, according to two time Olympic gold medalist Charles Barkley.

She worked Brooks hard. Took a deal and never raced in their shoes. What an embarrassment for Brooks. Is Aliphine still receiving a paycheck with Brooks? Signed in January of 2025 and has never raced.
Brooks has had some horrible luck with athletes over the past 2 years.

Or Brooks makes the worst decisions

Brooks sells the most shoes. Their business model is to sell to 2 groups of people: 1. Doctors and nurses who spent all day on their feet. 2. Runners who signed up for a 5k after the doctor told them they should exercise (having shoes on the feet of doctors matters for that) and who go to their local run speciality store for shoes before going to their first Park Run, which in America Brooks sponsors.The result is a highly profitable, if somewhat boring, company.
