I know he has a natural long and powerful stride, but at milrose it looked like he had no turnover and was reaching. Looked like he was running in slow motion. I’ve never seen brazier look like this.
I said in another thread he got married over the holidays, went on a honeymoon, then drove from Florida to Colorado to relocate with his wife. he might not be there mentally or physically right now. also, theres no worlds or olympics this year so he might be taking it easy as he gears up for one final push. at his age it might be best to rest rather than grind through what is essentially an off year. we'll see. but the appearance fee from Millroce most likely paid for his honeymoon.

I get that he wants to race after being shelved for a few years, but his decision to race indoors is just plain dumb. Now he’s just going to get hurt again over a season that isn’t even a big deal to begin with. Hell if I was him, I would just basically take the whole year off of intense training and just try to stay in good aerobic shape with biking and swimming or whatever, keeping off the legs most of the time. He gains nothing by competing this season and then being out with injury in 2027 and 2028. Even if his sponsors drop him, it’s not like he couldn’t get some cush high school coaching job to pay the bills. Running indoors is a huge mistake.
Colin Sahlman looked off to me. I didn’t notice it until the post race interview, but that is definitely not the same individual who competed for Newbury Park. Probably a Paul McCartney/Avril Lavigne situation where they’re employing a sub. I just hope Colin is ok.

That woman definitely saw something on that plane...perhaps it was 'Colin Sahlman'

When he spoke I said "what happened to his voice? does he have a new accent?"
This is sheer speculation but something tells me they (Smith and Brazier) are playing very smart and conservative with the periodization this year. Healthy Brazier is #1 priority, and they know he can get to 1:42 in time for championship season off of much less fitness than he has now.
Im bummed not to see him ripping super fast and taking his records back this indoor season, but I think the current game plan kind of prohibits that for him.
Fully aware that this could be a delusional level of denial on my part lol
On the couch for three years, then 5 months training, boom! 1:42! Why would anyone be suspicious?
🤡
I like how you can say this no push back. Yea it might or might not be true if he’s clean. If I say anything about Sam Ruthe, Cam Myers, or Cole Hocker on here it’s the end of the world.
If we’re gonna speculate then let’s really speculate then. I know this is a Brazier post, but if you believe all 3 of those guys are clean 100% just reply to this with “yes I do”.

He looks a lot better than Feb 2025.. Not worried.

Actually, you know you’re being disingnuous about that guy’s remark. If anything, Brazier pulled something that would have had Hoppel or say recently retired Murphy or any other paleface crucified, to be blunt. But hardly a negative word was said Brazier indeed provided us with a patently too-good-too-be-true story, and meanwhile after Nats, Hoey gets battered and scores of accusations were fired at Lutkenaus of all people. And you ignore the fact that a lot has been said about the kids, accusations against the Wonders from Down Under, and you toss Hocker’s name in the mix as a roundabout way of accusing him along with them.
So while you’re waiting for that poster, I’ll do some speculation. Brazier freaked out over Hoppel running 1:41 at the Olympics. He snapped out of his depressive fog and had some Kersee style help in getting into his top condition ever in “five months”. Not a popular opinion, but it’s realistic. The virtue signaling by you and others is amazing in its scope. Oy vey, we see your game.
Those kids and Hocker? Their real crime to you is that they win races. What bothers is you is these are the wrong people, in your opinion, winning races.

Hahahaha you think high school coaching jobs pay the bills?
