I like watching people running to their eyeballs. I like watching guys in full gallop. Watching them jog for 6 laps just doesn’t feel satisfying. In fact, it bothers me.

I miss Jakob. He wouldn’t allow this.
A healthy Jakob would definitely stay with the pacemaker.

Has Jakob ever raced at Millrose? I don’t recall him ever racing there. Seems strange to miss someone’s presence at a meet he doesn’t typically do. I’d say Fisher’s presence is what was really missing from the Millrose 2-mile.

I was about to say the same thing. I don't think that Jakob has ever run any indoor race in the USA? Has he?

Absolutely! They told told us this was suppose to be a historic indoor race, what a joke! I doubt Hocker will ever hold a world record unless he happen to be in a race lead by someone else going for it. I get the value of tactical racing, especially in championships, but there's also value in trying to break records and push human limits, and this race was suppose to be a great opportunity for doing that, especially in this year that doesn't have world championships.
Considering putting a pause on watching track until Jakob is back, the race didn't do it for me either. Did get excited watching Parker hungrily wolf his way up the side, shame he didn't beat Kerr too to really check his ego.

Indoor track races aren’t really known for pushing human limits.

Who are you to tell the horses how to run? Btw, Cole still would have won.. While Jakob hides out in SA, Cole’s easily displaces Kerr. Not every race can be for the WR btw either. We’re asking too much from our Athletes.

Ignoring what you said about Cole still winning (wrong), if we’re asking too much then what is Josh Kerrs coach doing? He said 7:54 was in trouble and 6 guys were breaking 8
