The United States sent a total of 592 athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics, representing the largest delegation of any National Olympic Committee at the Games.
The 2024 U.S. Paralympic team for the Paris Games consisted of 225 athletes.
(592 + 225)*$200,000 = $163 million
Quite the commitment even for a billionaire. Good to see someone stepping up like this.

Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers money is what we want. None of this peon low pay. Weve been demanding NBC Hollywood make the Olympics a yearly permanent league wth at least 12 yearly paid time trials, continental semi-finals, Olympic medal winning finals each year in Los Angeles, where the weather is consistenly warm. OUTDOOR Winter Track, Cross Country, 1/2, Road Mile, Road 5K, Road 10K, Throws, PV, Jumps, Walk, etc. Put us to work. Make us earn a living. Then pay us !

He's great for doing that. We should salute him dearly. We need to move the sport internationally to L.A. and make the Olympics brand an all year around brand vs once every 4 years. The Olympics is the only name the public recognizes. The rest are very tiny no one watches TV nor pays. Hollywood and Silicon Valley are the world trendsetters and are the top places in the world where people follow. In 2017 Nike CEO Donaho followed the L.A. Rams back to L.A. Donoho decided to move Nike marketing, strategy ,branding, arts, film,TV to Hollywood, in 2020 Nike opened Icon.LA Studios Hollywood, $10 Billion has been spent by Nike in Hollwood since 2017. We need to do likewise.
A lot of Olympians already make a ton of money. I'd rather see the money go to the unsponsored up-and-comers who need it to support their training. Bandit is currently supporting a bunch of US runners that have no sponsors.

Good for the athletes. Now, does anybody ever consider how little the coaches are paid/compensated? USOPC/USATF love using collegiate coaches for development because those coaches have a salary/benefits. It’s the coach(s) that arent school affiliated who are being crushed financially the most. They give and get VERY little in return.
