She looks like she's leaned out quite a bit in those M11 Insta reels. I think this is going to be good for her, it looks like she's working hard and also having a lot of fun.

Any theories on why the M11 women are such a powerhouse yet the men (even adjusting for lower baseline) seem to scuffle a bit? I have no idea.
Anyhow, they run GHB at 3,000 even though she’s not geared for it training-wise. Probably similar for Cranny here. She’s got such a base even if she’s running 45-50mpw + bike she can perform well in the 3K

The same reason why Bobby Kersee, Boogie Johnson and other coaches focus their careers on coaching women: women's track and field is less competitive than men's. Anyone able to develop a world class male athlete has taken on a bigger challenge.

True.
GHB ran one 3000 last year, an 8:36.96 to open the indoor season.
She also ran an 8:42.16 in Jan '24 in her 2nd indoor race.
Afterwards, all her races were 800s and 1500s/miles.
Likely, M11 coaches are putting Cranny on a parallel path.
Elise's indoor 3000 pr is 8:29.87 from last year's NBIGP. Outdoor pr is 8:25.10 from summer 2024.
Hoping for another sub-8:30 this Sunday. Full fields not yet released. However, Laura Muir announced yesterday as race's headliner.

Down vote away, LR. :-)
Your argument assumes the best coaches coach only men. Do you have any examples of this?
When I look at a list of marquee coaches, in both distances and sprints, all of them coach or have coached both men and women with great success. Schumacher. Mike Smith. Patrick Sang. Dennis Mitchell. Brother Colm O'Connor. Addy Ruiter.
So, it would seem your post is both sexist and demonstrably false.
8:37.06 for second behind Debues-Stafford (8:35.94)
Last season, she ran the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in 8:29.87, which was her fastest time of the year. It was her indoor PR and only 4 seconds off her outdoor PR of 8:25.10.
Race was slow and she was well positioned and looked strong and actually finished well, she just got caught off guard by an huge early kick by DeBues-Stafford. She looked strong and had more left in the tank at the end. She was disappointed with her tactics but fitness looked good.
one of the most determined all-in pro runners you'll ever find. unhappy with her standing at Team Boss she leaves. Needs to find her love of the sport again she goes with Jarred Cornfield. Needs to gain speed she relocates to England and joins M11.
so many runners are complacent with where they are and resistant to change and often stagnate. But Elise is her own best advocate and not afraid to do what it takes to get the most out of herself.
