If so, how did it make you feel?
You get used to it
If you haven’t then either you're pretty darn fast, or you just haven’t entered any races with a strong enough field. In the Houston marathon you had to be under 2:24:17 to avoid it, and 1:04:49 in the half marathon. I know we hate on times in that range for men here, but on a normal person scales you're fast if you can avoid being outrun by a woman at Houston
What is a woman?

2”24 Chicago marathon you’d need to run under 2:09:56. Needles to say I didn’t. Of course I’m not on EPO or other drugs
When I was in high school, I was badly outran in a mile by the top runner on the girl's team. Thus began my quest to become the top runner on the boy's team.
I didn't reach undisputed #1 there, but close enough, and more important I was MUCH faster than her by then.
She was also knocked off the top spot by some random girl who had never trained, and instantly won all the invitationals and state championships.

Yes, Cathy Shiro O'Brien beat me in the Manchester Road Race, and I felt just fine because she was awesome.
Even if you are a pro, if you race enough competitive road or trail races, you'll probably get outrun by a woman at some point because you can't have a good day every time out. Behind Gidey when she ran 62 were American pros Kirubel Erassa (60:44 PR) and Parker Stinson.
My son is 25. He has never lost to a woman. His PRs are about 3:45/14:00/29:00. His 10k PR is about 10 seconds slower than the world record. I am certain that he woukd lose badly in a marathon.
I lost to Kara Goucher and Shalane Flanagan in 2011 in a half marathon.
Unless you are always faster than the women’s WR, never being beaten by a women is like being undefeated at your local 5k race.
Yes, in USATF Masters championships 5000 on the track. Since it was a small field, woman and all age groups were combined. I got lapped by a younger lady (I think she was 35-39 age group), while I was in the 55-59. It was still humiliating.
I outrun fat ICE agents all the time! I’m not illegal but they don’t care.
My wife and daughters have been kicking my tail for years. You want your kids to do better than you in life. I stopped trying to train competitively when I got married. I still run recreationally for fitness, but stopped caring about times a long time ago. No regrets. It’s wonderful to see them do well.
Orphan
Fine
There is a 49 year old in our running community who does nothing but
run. Well, he works, but he had no other interests, no children and is a
total jerk.
At a race last summer, he didn't too well and was passed the last 200 meters by a female Kenyan. At the awards banquet, he was pounding the table in frustration, saying how he was going to "train his brains out and pound her in the ground next year."
If he only saw the people laughing at him. What a joke.
