Is it to hide their identity? They aren’t undercover agents are they? Is it so they don’t get harassed when off duty in the community?

Why don’t you post under your real name? Maybe because you don’t want strangers coming to your house, harassing your wife, kids, etc. Maybe you don’t want the cartels that some of these deportees belong to threatening you, your family, etc.

But I’m not aware of any other law enforcement who is not undercover wearing a mask to hide their identity. Why do ICE agents find it necessary?

The difference is that Trump's ICE is doing it for the cameras. It's all performative. They're more likely to want to cover their faces when their actions are supposed to go on social media to rile up the masses and a lot of the time they're acting unlawfully.
