Strong run and I'm sure she'll do very well if she focuses on trail racing, but there was really no depth in this race. Top 3 ran mile paces of 6:47, 7:17 and 7:27. No way to tell how good of a performance 6:47 pace was without closely examining the course.

Imagine needing to make snide comments about someone who may or may not have doped (YOU do not know), but either way served their ban AND busted it during their ban to maintain their world class fitness level.

I’ll make snide comments about convicted drug cheats all I want.
Despite her weird narcissistic denials, her case was as cut and dried as they get. A drugs cheat.
She never cheated that is #1. #2 is that short trail races can be quite competitive nowadays.
I always laugh when reading some of these idiotic posts from people who either don't understand what their talking about, or are just STUPID. As someone who has been involved with the sport for a "very long time" at all levels, the PED discussion isn't complicated. I've always contended that you must look at the situation objectively, using ONLY the determined proven evidence and facts available. We all know there's PED abuse in the sport, no argument there. There are measures in place to minimize and or eliminate PED use through various drug testing protocols, in addition to these protocols, there is a process in place that allows every athlete to challenge, refute, and or appeal an accusation. There are also various consequences in place to reprimand and or punish those who violate the established ban of PED use. In the case of Shelby Houlihan, she was found guilty through these set protocols and processes, and subsequently given a 4 year ban of which she served. That being said, Shelby has done her time and is 100% eligible to compete without compromise...CASE CLOSED!!! However, in the court of public opinion which is subjective, there are people who still believe she didn't violate the PED usage ban, which is totally fine, they can believe what they want. Unfortunately, their argument and opinion are mute, and hold zero merit. Bottom line is that Shelby tested positive for a banned substance (no argument), and will FOREVER be known as someone who used a PED for whatever reason, thus gaining an unfair advantage over her competitors...CASE CLOSED!!!
Quit chasing your tail and accept the facts and decision that was made.

One would think so - but the mods deleted that "snide comment" to protect a certain drug cheat.
