On 45-50 MPW, PRs of 15:17 hilly road 5K, 1:10:24 HM, 2:27:13 M.
Thoughts on how higher volume, say 60 or 70 MPW would increase performance.
Best workout was 8xMile @ 5:15 with 1:00 rest active rest on the road
Long runs were weekly and stayed in the 14-16 range. Added a few 20-22s in the month before the marathon. Sometimes would add a second workout in the long run.
All singles, no doubles. Most easy days were five miles run at about 8:30 pace. No strides but would like to do strides. Wore super shoes for road races.
