I think most contracts would have expired last year as they often go from Olympics to Olympics but I can’t see perhaps some that maybe were granted an additional year.
Look at athletes that didn’t make an Olympic team last year and didn’t look great in 2025. Guys like Woody Kincaid.

false
Also we got to see what Post Collegians get Contracts, Example will South Carolina Sprinter Jayla Jamison get a Contract, Will Rosey Effiong of Arkansas, she has run 49.7 and nothing yet, hopefully she gets something.

No That Would Not be Fair if Someone Graduates in 2027 they get only 1 Year but if they graduate in 2024 they get 4, Basically it is 3-5 years depending on Age (Younger is better at Getting a Longer Contract) Contracts will be a Lot more than USUAL with the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics being in the USA, An Example an Athlete in most years who only had a Gear and Bonus Contract will still get Gear and Bonus, but will also get 100-300k. Also Elliott Hill has replaced Phil Knight in doing NIKE Track and Field Athletes And He cares more about Athletes Feeling Their deal is Beyond Fair and cares more about the Athlete as a Person Than he does about making a Profit for The Company, He prides himself on his Goodness of The Heart and Being Kind and doing things because it is the right thingh to do. Athletes are Human Beings Not Returns on investments, Money is a Distant 2nd with these values he prides himself on, and that is the kind of Businessman he is.
Right. But athletes like Keira and Nell Rojas haven’t preformed and I know nells was up yesterday.
Certainly a good number of these contracts are annual, and most of them have reduction clauses. A lot of the people on Team Meridia and Union AC, for example, are probably scrambling to find someone, anyone willing to fund their travel.
Would it be more accurate to say who is entering 2026 without a major shoe deal? That seems to be the standard for defining a pro track and field athlete.
Sometimes us "foreigners" forget that "following track" equals "following amateur and regional meaningless meets in Hicksville, USA and knowing everything about an 18 year old who just graduated from Billy Bob Senior High"
Most of us follow WORLD athletics and not your inbred, worthless local meets full of athletes who'll never leave your country.
