Good topic, i have multiple pairs of stinky shoes that are starting to become serious problems.
Yes, it\'s called buying a new pair jackass.
There's some powder crap you can put in them to help take the odor out, but I thought it was pretty annoying the one time I tried it. If they\'re real bad, just leave em on the porch or in the garage or something.
Just throw them in the washer with some towels.....I have never had a single problem with throwing them in the washer...Just pull out the insoles and shoe laces and you're golden.....The dryer's a whole different story...Don't do that....
Yeah you really have to wash them with soap and water. Either by a washing machine or even by hand.
There are spray products, but if your shoes are seriously stinky then those are not even close to powerful enough.
To prevent them from getting smelly in the first place, stuff them with newspaper after you get them wet on a run.
wear socks; if you are wearing socks - wear clean socks; if you are wearing clean socks and they still stink - throw them out.
It's bacteria. And here is the solution. Dump a half ounce of either Dawn or Palmolive anti-bacterial liquid soap in the tub, and add your old socks, underwear and tank top. Start the water and begin washing your feet and then slosh the clothes around too. Finish with a shower, so as to save water. You will be glad that you did this. And your friends will be glad also.
I've had success with Odor Eaters' powder and spray. If the shoes are really smelly it just might take several treatments.

Wow, you must be a rich. Do you really buy a new pair of shoes when they start to smell. Very admirable
Creatively:
1. The most fun...If you know you are running in the rain, put a little or lot of dish soap or detergent in your shoes, then run through the puddles. It's good to do for a team thing, because bubbles come out of the shoes.
2. Less fun but still works...if you come back and your shoes are muddy, just keep them on in the shower and put the detergent in them. You can get all the mud off and hopefully the smell inside.
3. Even less fun, wash them with soap in the sink and them throw them in the washer.
