Him and his teammate stepping outta lanes. Fast times but I hope this doesn’t keep happening this indoor season. Worst thing to happen would be getting a national record then losing it due to a DQ.
Maybe it's just indoors that exacerbates it, but good lord he looks like an electrocuted duck out there. Feet just flapping around in all directions - almost like they are making circles? It's like watching a cartoon.
And yet this kid has run 44.10 at 17 and 44.20 as a 16 year old. Go figure. He just seems to be able to hurl himself around the track and his legs somehow catch up. Enough.

His teammate just ran 33.30 at 16, looks promising!
What's he doing looking at the ceiling while running? How have they not improved his form yet?
Yeah, his coach’s #1 priority for the last few years should’ve been “fix this kid’s form.” The guy was so good so young, he had SO MUCH time to work on biomechanics when he was still light-years ahead of all his peers before it started getting harder to fix. Now he’s going to Maryland and not changing coaches which means nothing is likely going to change.

Maybe if he didn't have his head back so freaking far he could see where he is running.
Sounds kind of weird but I think it's true. He is all over the place and literarily not looking at his lane. Btw, his form looks worse than some middle school athletes. it is amazing how fast he has run looking like that. Young bodies are amazing, they can overcome biomechanical imperfections, but as our bodies mature, you just don't get faster unless you are doing a lot of things right and then there is the issue of injuries caused by poor form. (Personally, I think he is trouble unless there is an intervention.)
Bullis is a pro team. They had travel expenses taken care of . There is NIL money throughout a supposed HS program. They recruit and poach runners from other programs. Get them out of HS competitions.
