The ncaa record is on borrowed time.
The ncaa record is on borrowed time.
I suspect another epic race and any pros that enter will not be favored.

is Riley also going to be there?
I don't know how fast Doris is at mile or flat 3k (8:58 steeple is pretty darn good, usually 8:20s material) but I suspect that Jane can break 8:30 if pacers are quick enough, given her 4:23 as a senior and significant improvement at the 5 (14:57 down to 14:44 already!).
Lemngole's steeple is well beyond her other races. 8:58 steeple, 8:41 3k, 14:52 5000m, 4:43 mile, 4:09 1500. Jane definitely has a good shot to beat her at flat 3k.

Well Doris is pretty good at that XC thing too

Just as in XC pre Nationals, I don't think we have seen Doris's best yet in the other events. I can see 8:30 or a bit faster for both.
I agree, the collegiate record is in real jeopardy. I'd like to see Jane come out on top, but realistically, Doris has to be favored to beat her right now with her superior finish.
I think I am more interested in Hedengren vs. Andrews than Hedengren vs. Lemngole. If Hedengren beats Andrews, she might already be the best female US distance runner.

I want Riley to run. If she does, I say that there is a 10% chance that the new CR holder will be Riley

Only if the only pros entered are Yanks.

Jane is the best US distance runner. Has birthing to do with Andrews

Let’s face it. Everyone in the crowd will be cheering for Jane. She’s the darling of distance
