It’s rigged. Paul goes down in 3 or 4. Meets the expected outcome while not making Joshua seem like a chump, and Paul not a total pushover so that he can keep the prize fighter charade going.

Rigging a fight is illegal. Joshua will knock Paul out as soon as possible, and it’s very likely to be during the first round.

This is what I was thinking. I don't really understand the reasoning behind this fight for Paul.

Maybe but Joshua tends to not throw his big right in the first and just get behind the jab.
I would say second round is the most likely, but Paul might just crumble when he gets jabbed.

How do you prove rigging when both in on it?
They’re both receiving $92M so why would it be fixed? Joshua carrying Paul would look ridiculously fake, and proven or not, Joshua would lose his chance to fight Fury.
What is this, Make-A-Wish? Why is professional boxing allowing this charade of YouTubers cosplaying as professional boxers in fixed matches? It’s a clown sport now.
All the steroids in the world won’t help the Logan brothers look anything other than a wet noodles in a fight. This sport is a complete embarrassment.

And? Since when has something being illegal stopped everyone from breaking the law?
I don’t think Joshua would actually risk his career and legacy to outright break the law. But I 100% think Paul would.
All I’m saying is that the sport of boxing(and sports in general) has never been void of shady practices, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is no exception. Especially with 100s of millions of dollars involved.

Joshua will go down in history as a complete fraud if he doesn’t knock out Paul. Joshua already has a diminished reputation, with a bunch of bad losses. Losing to an undersized / low skilled fighter would be humiliating.
I do worry he carries Paul for a couple rounds to play it safe. It should be over in R1, but I predict R3 KO

There’s no entity called “professional boxing” and this fight was approved by the Florida Athletic Commission. It’s sanctioned as a boxing match and many people want to watch it, so why should it not occur?
Paul’s clown show tour is not boxing and draws from a different fan base. There are currently many great boxers and the sport does not need Paul. 90% of recent bets have been on Paul which shows that his fans have no knowledge of boxing.

Who is it rigged for?
Both, right? This is a massive money draw for both of them(with I’m sure various “bonuses” on the side) as they’re each going to make ~$100mil win, lose, or draw lol.
However, Joshua has the most to lose from an unfavorable outcome, which is why it’s not out of the realm of possibility for there to be certain assurances in place.

I’ll take my tin foil hat off now XD
What assurances would Paul give to Joshua? It’s already assured that Joshua is going to hit Paul, Paul is going down and he’s not getting up.
