NCAA Cross Country Nationals will be on ESPNU it seems.
Anyone know the cheapest way to get ESPNU to watch the NCAA Nationals?
I am thinking it might just be getting the HULU/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle.
Or maybe SlingTV?
Anyone know of other ways?
Kind of wish it was PPV. Getting tired of all the streaming subscriptions. LRC note: A Sling 1 day pass with the sports package is the way to watch the meet for $2. Details here. https://www.letsrun.com/news/2...

There are scads of Premier League soccer matches that morning, many of which start at 10A EST, so I'd look for a soccer bar and hope you can get them to spare you a TV channel.

Alas, no such sports bars near me, and no flights timely to Columbia.
Fubu free trial may be the way to go, just have to remember to cancel it.
I may be able to change up my current Hulu/Disney+ Bundle, but that's coming across as wonky.
I'd love to watch it with my kiddo who went with me to the Nationals in Wisconsin last year, but maybe if she's not as into it I wait till it's on ESPN and stream the live results on the timing site.
Mad the conscious decision to forego YouTubeTV after last college football season to save costs, which have only skyrocketed. (Man, it used to just be $55 a month.)
I am getting tired of our tech overlords. Where is my damn hoverboard? This future sucks.
A bit of the breakdowns I've seen:
Fubu TV free trial may be best, and their lowest "sports" tier and their next up "Pro" tier aren't too bad expense wise if you miss it ($45 and $55 for first month after free trial).
SlingTV requires to you have one tier, then pay an addon; adds up quick. I don't think you can get their weekend/daypass option for ESPNU from what I see.
Hulu/Disney+/ESPN Unlimited bundle is about $30 or so a month with ads (I think $40 without?).
ESPN+, or whatever it's called now (Select?) does not appear to carry it.
Thanks for the Fubu recommendation; that may be the way to go.
The Brojos were pushing a single day SlingTV thing for NY which was $5.99. Not sure if that is still a thing. More companies need to do a PPV or an a la carte single day/3 day/ week pass system.
TheTVApp.to has lots of free streams (but they do fill up and eventually cap out). I use this frequently and as long as you start the stream early enough before the server fills up its great. Too slow and you miss out though.
I'm here in Columbia MO, just spent $69 for three tickets so I can go and take my 7 and 4 year old daughters with me! But, I am also planning on doing the Sling one day pass with $1 sports add on, we've done that probably 5 or 6 times this football season to watch the Missouri Tiger football games, $5.99 for 24 hour access is well worth it. I've done the free trials and then forget to cancel costing me $60 for the month. We don't watch much tv, but this weekend I'll DVR the race here as I'll want to watch the stream of the race in addition to catching it live, plus MU plays Oklahoma and that will hopefully be a good game!
Just to be clear, 99% certain for $4.99 you can do a one day Sling pass, pick the Orange with $1 sports Add On and you'll be able to stream the race.
Good to know; I looked into this and it looked like the Sports Add On didn't include ESPNU, but I will double check. That would be preferable, I think.
At least for me, looks like the Sling day pass is "on sale" for $1 when I go to the sign-up page, so after adding the sports package to get ESPNU assume it might only be $2-3 total, (assuming of course the sale is still going on Friday night/ Saturday morning when I plan on signing up).
Also, for those not familiar with Sling, you need to select the Orange (NOT Blue) package to get the right added sports package for ESPNU.
(Believe Blue's sports add-on package includes Fox and NFL sports channels, and NOT ESPN.)
If it doesn't have to be live, the races were posted within a day on YouTube last year on the NCAA Championships channel. Same for some of the regionals this year.
