i quit running 3 years ago. completely stopped. now i am wanting to get back into it. i am 27years old. can i start over and be as good as i was in college? i mean, how much time is too much time off. i havent really gained weight, but lost all of my muscle mass. and if i can how long should i expect it to take to start racing again? ihave to be competative to keep at it. i dont run for the joy of it! i figure i need to run about a 1/2hr a day for awhile? any advice/personal experiences welcome!
