I've been training for a marathon and have recently experienced chaffing as I've increased my mileage.
Any tips on the best underwear, shorts etc to help stop the chaffing?

Zinc oxide ointment. Sometimes under the label of baby rash cream. It’s cheap and super effective. Highly recommend. Doesn’t stain in wash either.
body glide, its cheap and youll be fine.
Bodyglide works great.
This is something I don't miss about marathon training.
Chamois Butt'r is the truth. I use it daily for my inner thighs and my azz. also works well on los nipples for me
Oh, and: I only wear half tights now. I stopped wearing regular running shorts because they ride up and then the chaf-fest begins

I'll let anal face give you a proper reply, but less material is usually better. Buy shorts with the built in underwear, and don't wear any extra. Go commando.
