Big conservative media caves! Looks like they need lib dollars and Kimmel gets better ratings than re-runs of Charlie Kirk tributes and expanded local news.

No, Jimmy Kimmel is the big jerk guy who spends his whole show attacking Trump. It got old like 7 years ago but he still is crazy obsessed with Trump. So too Colbert and Myers. these idiots never grew up.

Nah. It’s just another of the many problems provided when a single group of self-absorbed petty people who hate the country (and always play victim) are controlling most of the media. Sure, it’s crumbling, but not quickly enough. At least things are accelerating.

Sinclair is in control of their affiliates. They demanded an apology and a donation to turning point. So yes, they caved. Boycotting Kimmel was hurting their bottom line; the simple explanation is the correct one in this case.

Executive year end bonus were going to be cancelled.

Sinclair executives failed to realize that advertisers would not pay the same for reruns of Fox and Friends as they were paying for Kimmel. Money talks, and Sinclair folded.Easy call.

The executives were in danger of losing their bonus and not being able to make their third home and yacht payments, and worse, having to cancel their unused memberships at Mara Lago.

Sinclair’s business model is doomed. In 5-7 years, who will still be watching broadcast television? Cable TV? Listening to AM radio? Using terrestrial radio at all?

Dying mediums. I’m Gen X and I cannot remember the last time I watched local news on television or used the radio in my car. Streaming services or apps all the time.

He also probably wouldn't be a fan of Trump...as a point of information.

But Donald Trump's audience (mostly everyone older than 70) still does...and they still believe in the system (which - as someone who's dad is in this group - is absurd)

At least the guy on Fox that said homeless people should be murdered is also still on the air.

He also has a bowl game named after him that no one watches.
