How long before this kid is on the bench then he moves on? The thing is his mechanics are horrible, he has terrible decision making, and it's just overall bad. He's throwing pics against bad teams and then celebrating over players that are on the ground from really bad teams.

Maybe you should watch Manning play before you slam him. In his last game he was 18 for 21 with 309 yards.
I did watch most of the game, he has phenomenal talent and has the potential to be a very good NFL QB. His throwing mechanics are as good as it gets.
His mechanics looked pretty good. He also threw pretty well in his last game. I would say let him play through half of his first season as a starter before declaring him a bust.
I remember when the Packers went for Brett Favre and us fans were pissed. And he wasn't exactly showing what we wanted him to and got extra pissed. But he figured it out and became one of the greatest QBs in NFL history. The moral of the story is be patient. These guys can usually figure it out if you give them a second to catch their breath.
So many of you here are simply clueless about how this stuff works.
GIVE IT SOME TIME
In his first 4 NFL seasons Terry Bradshaw was terrible threw something like 80 INT;s, the cat won 4 Superbowls.
Rookies sheesh~~~~~~~~
Josh Allen sucked in the NFL for his first 2 seasons. In year 3, he became a star. Peyton Manning sucked even more- he threw 28 INTs in his rookie season. Troy Aikman also sucked in his rookie season and he turned out just fine.
Dude was mentored by pro QB grandpa and uncles. He rode the pine for two years behind Ewers. Ewers was merely serviceable, he wasn't going to lead a team to greatness so if Manning wasn't a better option then we shouldn't be surprised that he's no improvement over Ewers now. How much longer should he need to get ready to perform at a high level? His situation is really nothing like being a rookie pro QB. He's a bust, some of you are just too slow to see it.

Sheesh! Stupid rookie posters here.
Allen didn't exactly "suck" in his 2nd season - his first full season as a starter (he only started 11 games in his rookie season & definitely had some problems).
In his 2nd season, he threw for over 3000 yds, 20 TDs & passer rating of 85, and rushed for over 500 yds & 9 scores! - very average passing stats by NFL standards but hardly "sucked."(you can look it up). And his rushing numbers were excellent for a mobile pocket passer - above average. The Bills went 10-6 that season making the postseason.
His 3rd season was definitely his breakout season throwing the ball - "Tier 1" type stats. And Bills went 13-3 & a trip to the AFCCG vs the Chiefs.

Let him finish the season - there's a lot left with conference play - and we'll be in a better position to evaluate him. In terms of physical skills, he's top notch: Elite size, elite arm strength & excellent mobility/athleticism shown by his ability to effectively run the ball (and the trend in the NFL is mobile pocket passers/dual-threat QBs).
Wow, I didn't realize he's been clocked at 4.62 - that's excellent for a QB of that size (faster than Josh Allen!).
Unlike his two uncles, he has speed & athleticism. Therefore, he needs to utilize that mobility in his game. He should be more effective in off-schedule plays & take off running at the first hint of a pocket collapse. IMO, he needs to play more like John Mateer at Oklahoma - a dual-threat QB that's beating teams with his arm & legs.

This.
I predict he will be benched before the end of the seadon.
