Im currently a Sophomore boy in highschool and im going to be out for the rest of my season due to shin splints, ive had them for a year now and now I actually have to stop. Would using a stationary bike and elliptical for 30 minutes a day keep me conditioned? Right now, im confident I can run a sub 20 3 mile, but my previous pr was a 19 flat. Im not worried about xc right now but mainly track because I want go to sub 5 this season, and my current 1600m pr is a 5:19.
