ok its 1 lap more than an 800m and 1 lap less than a mile.
My DMR slpit was 3:02
And my 800m open is 1:50.73, should I be like 2:55?

How do I run a 1200m? Badly. Seriously, whenever I've done workouts that include 1200m reps, my time always sucked compared to what I was running for both 800m and 1500m.
I know that's not what you're asking, exactly, but my two cents is to be careful about projecting times for the 1200m because it's such an atypical distance. Maybe some people don't have a problem with it, but I (and some other guys I ran with at the time) did.
Run the first lap at mile pace, then treat the rest like an 800. 1200s hurt bad.
Most people run the 1200 near the average of their mile and 800 paces. So take the average of 55 and whatever pace you run the mile.
i ran a 1200 in 2:58 and thoguht it was a good, well paced effort for me. i was in 1:49/4:07 shape at that point, so the averge 400 pace rule seems about right. try to run it evenly.
you should be like 2:55 or something around there. Run it like a 1000, and just hold on for that last lap.
You seriously underachieved. You should run it like it's a long 800. It also helps to run it more than once in a season to get the rhythm of the race down.
