Vipam, where are you?? Are you embarrassed that you did not start this thread?? I think you mentioned Feleke once before, but only in passing and said he was "17." You were wrong, he is 16, and will be better than Bekele. Think about it: he is only appox 9 seconds slower than Bekeles' former Jr record at 3k, and is THREE years younger than Bekele was when Kenny ran that 7:30.

Feleke........FELEKE.......remember that name kids, you will be shouting it at your t.v. soon.

actually he is 15, Fekele won't be 16 for 2 more months. The surprising thing is how fast he closed, it shows he can go faster than 7:53 if its neccessary for the win!

He also made it in the top 10 of my Top 19 Juniors End of the Year List for 2005 and Juniors going into 2006.

That's amazing. So he won Carlsbad in 13:15 when he was SIXTEEN?? Damn........ The reason people were confused was because he was listed as "Cherkos"(his middle name) not Feleke in that race, and his age listed as "18."
