Melissa Jefferson Woodsen
We have a new MJ. The W can stand for WINNER!
She joins Sydney in SHOWING the boys HOW IT IS DONE - on and off the track.
Let's celebrate one of the most dominant sprint double wins in World Championship history, and remember some of the greats who elevated our sport. Among all Sprint Double Winners, she has the largest 200m victory, and 3rd best 100m win.

Times do matter. But 2nd place gap measures 'winning' and also reflect conditions of that day.
*Banned for Drugs in 1991, before 1992 Olympics. White Women German Thunder would never be the same. Krabbe retired in 1992 at the age 23. The Drug Ban ended her career. Sad.
Note: Bolt false-started in 2011 100m. He did win the 200m by 0.30s. Blake won the 100m.
MJWs wins were impressive enough, that I thought they must be the most impressive Double Wins ever. I will do so again for Olympics and add to the post later.
I pray to the track Gods that MJW and SML both go after the 400m in LA28 - and in competitive support of each other and continue to elevate our sport!
Who else can challenge either of them, but each other?
Wo Man! look at these Women Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
