I've been truly impressed by the Qatari 400 meter runners including the relay team qualified for the final- and I'm wondering are they born and bred qataris or imports ?
I lived in Saudi Arabia for seven years from 2008 until the end of 2014 and most of the youths there were not interested in training for athletics because they had a relatively easy life and all the more so in Qatar where everybody receives a defacto salary from the government whether they work or not.
