47.60. One of the most notorious runs in history harking back to the years before the Berlin Wall fell and Stasi asserting their dominance. Will the record go tomorrow?

The most amazing part I'd forgotten about that race is that *another* walking bio-chem experiment, Bryzgina, is just a few meters back, at like 48.2.
Quite an era. And now the Republicans here have decided to *emulate* it in every possible way.
When Kratochvilova broke Koch's World Record by running 47.99 in 1983 Koch Decided to get back in shape And got her World Record Back 2 Years later by running 47.60.
I wonder If McLaughlin breaks Koch's 47.60 if Marita Koch would decide to get back in shape to try to get her Record back, which would set up a Dream Match MCLAUGHLIN VS KOCH.
I think that if Mclaughlin Barely breaks it by running 47.20 - 47.59 Then Koch will say to herself I can get that back as some say The Carbon Plated Shoes make you Half a Second or more faster per lap, I can get my World Record Back (Renato Canova said the difference is about half a Second so 47.10) And She can get it back and may Train to get it back, If she has been living a Healthy Lifestyle by 2028, If she has been getting wasted in bars everynight celebrating every day her World Record is NOT Broken Then it May be at the 2032 Olympics in Australia (Australia is where she ran 47.60)
If Mclaughlin Smashes it by running 46.50 or Faster Koch Might Say Congratulations and then Say to herself, Regaining The World Record is not in the Cards for Me.
I know many readers here will say Marita Koch is 78 Years old and that Window has closed for her, but President Joe Biden said when Campaigning for President AGE IS JUST A NUMBER, So that Means Koch can at least get back where she was through Hard Work and Genetics (I Think Many Athletes lose Their total focus on being the best Athlete they can be. And That is The Reason you don't see Athletes going for World Records when they are older.) Myron Roderick A Former Wrestler Coach and Athletic Director At Oklahoma State used to challenge CURRENT NCAA Champions and All Americans in the Oklahoma State Wrestling Room even into his late 50-early 60's with a Big Beer Belly and only 2 Did. Randy Lewis Talked about Dan Gable in his 50-60's and even Beat A current World Champion (Randy Lewis who was also Olympic Champion) Lewis said before their match Gable Worked out for 45 Minutes straight saying because of his age he needed a long Warmup) Lewis said Gable won easy.
George Foreman was in his 40's and had been retired for 10 years when he decided to Box again And He Became World Champion Again.
Koch regaining her World Record Will probably rank as A Even More Surprising Comeback Than Foreman, And The Odds will be Greatly against her but Remember what Biden and Many others have said AGE IS JUST A NUMBER.

Good times!
GDR and USSR were leftist communist nations, run by the relatives of the people who run our media, the Fed, and fund leftist orgs like ANTIFA and BLM. They were literally “democrats” lol.
