Farken ran like he belonged in the final. Did this run prove he was impacted by Hocker and the DQ was legit?
I also asked him if Geordie Beamish would have won tonight’s race.

Always tough to pull the "would a guy not even in the race have won it?" card out on a world final but you have to say, it's hard to imagine a race that would have suited the former world indoor 1500m champion better than that.
Farkens performance today means nothing in the context of the other night, totally different races. He is very fortunate Hocker decided to do what he did because if Hocker hadn't touched him he wouldn't have even been here.
I would have asked, would Femke Bol have won?
Nor Hocker.
Top 8 is very important for the funding of athletics federation by German government.

The DQ was "legit" regardless of how Farken did in the final. This raced proved nothing that wasn't already obvious to everyone other than you and a few other idiots.
Did he "[run] like he belonged in the final"? He finished .63s behind 5th. At no point was he in contention. The fact that you even bring up Beamish shows that everyone knows it was a kicking race, absent a certain someone known for his kick...

In a final that started that slow and ran slow for so long, everyone that didn't make the final could have looked like they belonged in the final. The kickers still would always prevail.
This is a broken logic. How Farken does in the final doesn't change what Hocker did and if it broke the rules or not.
Yes.
And yes.

I agree. Rojo's premise is a complete logical disconnect.
I don’t think Beamish would have won tonight. I’m a huge Beamish fan but he has typically struggled with rounds. He’s never shown that he can run a great race after having two rounds in the legs. Look at Laros. There is a massive difference between a one-off diamond league and even two rounds, compared to three. Beamish is incredibly talented, but let’s put some respect on Nader now.
