She has, as you say, the same “weight,” if not more. She is probably the best known T&F athlete for those that don’t closely follow the sport and is almost assuredly the highest paid currently.

Nobody you know is familiar with Duplantis because everybody you know becomes slightly interested in track during an Olympic year, and during an Olympic year only. That is to say that they hardly ever follow the sport, only the major headlines once every 4 years (generally speaking).
