If you go to the youtube footage at 2.21 on the NBC video there is a closeup of the outside athlete groups spikes. She is right there. Looks like she is wearing the same unbranded all white Dragonflys that she did at USATFs.
Pretty big compromise by Garett Heath and Brooks there tbh. Plenty of Brooks athletes running well and their spikes are absolutely comparable to anything else out there.
We already did this thread at USAs. Who cares. I doubt the spikes made a difference between 15th and 16th.
The only reason I care is just that I'd be fascinated to know what that conversation was between her and Brooks and why Brooks is ok with it. Reflects poorly on their spike quality but reflects well on their relationships with their athletes?

She has horrible form bc she's had hip surgery and general issues with injuries. She was the oldest athlete competing today and isn't to the gills doping.
