Hardly a return as he is not 100% and those will be his only competitive throws in 2025. Dude is that good. Watching him (and Valarie Allman) in the circle brings me joy.

Maybe “cameo” is a better word. A world championship-winning cameo! 😀
Also noteworthy: Crouser’s win should officially end the debate LRC started this past week about getting rid of the bye for reigning world champions. Without that bye, Crouser wouldn’t have been able to compete in Tokyo.

You beat me to it. I watched it live and the call from the announcers was pretty spot on. “This is like watching Michael Jordan’s Flu Game in the NBA Finals!”
And immediately thought… thank goodness for the bye!
